HireMate focuses on interviews for collections, field sales, credit and data-analysis roles. I worked on the product strategy and prototype as part of my product-management programme.
My contribution
I chose the audience, designed the research and defined the product and launch plan. AI tools helped develop and check the material.
Make practice specific to the role
I narrowed the audience to Indian freshers and early-career switchers seeking bank and NBFC jobs. The practice covers situations they could face in those roles, including customer handling.
The project has 48 scenarios, with weak answers and suggested corrections. The prototype shows how a candidate chooses a role, practises and receives feedback.
What the research told me
The survey collected 14 completed responses. Six came from people in the target roles, so the sample is too small to settle demand or pricing.
I also used 14 AI-simulated persona interviews to develop questions and hypotheses. I kept those separate from the real survey because simulated answers cannot establish what customers want.
Check the strategy before using it
I recorded prompts, decisions and corrections in a process log. Source checks caught six errors in AI-generated market research.
The final material includes the audience choice, proposed pricing, first product scope and launch plan. The 10,000-user figure is a launch target.
What I would test next
The strategy, landing page and prototype are public. The product is at the concept stage.
The next useful test is with more candidates in the chosen roles: can they use the feedback to give a better second answer, and would they return for another session? That evidence would help decide what to build and charge for.
